Since 2016, Macmillan Teacher Campus has been partnering with Unitrade 745 in the rural Kwa-Dukuza area of Kwa-Zulu Natal, supplying schools with resources and offering learner support programmes to Grade 11 learners doing Mathematics, Physical Sciences and English subjects on Saturdays and during school holidays. The learners of the schools involved in the project are Hullet Secondary School and Lethithemba Secondary School.  

Unitrade 745 and Macmillan Teacher Campus took the top performing Grade 11 learners to the Unitrade 745 plant. Unitrade 745 specialises in making cables for the motor industry. Learners were taken into the whole process taking place at the plant. The main idea of the tour was to stimulate the interest of these young stars in the field of engineering.
