This workshop will enable you to:

Be able to teach learners the foundational skills of reading – phonemes and phonics
Develop initial reading skills
Teach your learners basic comprehension skills so that their reading is meaningful
Assess pre-reading and reading skills in an objective way
Create excitement about reading for enjoyment in your classroom, at school and in homes
