This workshop will enable you to:

Identify a whole and a fraction
Show parts of a whole using real objects, geo-shapes, paper shapes, models and a collection of objects
Use and name unitary fractions and non-unitary fractions
Recognise fractions diagrammatically
Write out fractions, e.g. 1 half
Match illustrations with fraction names
Recognise equivalent fractions

Grades 1 - 3 teachers, DHs and SESs
