This workshop will enable you to:

Better understand sensory motor development
Understand the diﬀerent domains of sensory motor development
Diﬀerentiate between fine motor and gross motor development
Understand the importance of the motor development activities
Establish a baseline of knowledge of the motor development skills
Understand how fine and gross motor development forms part of the Grade R syllabus in preparation for school readiness
Acquire skills to further enhance the use of the motor skills in the Grade R classroom
Recognise the value of the child being ready for formal schooling
