This workshop will enable you to:

• Apply effective communication at your workplace
• Identify the people you build relations with as a DH
• Identify the relationship challenges that DHs encounter that prevent them from being effective in carrying out their core duties
• Provide possible solutions to these challenges
• Share best practices with each other
• List the various discipline problems that occur in your school
• Determine your success in addressing these discipline problems
• Identify your duties as DHs in relation to a grade head, subject head and phase head
• List the various ways in which your school communicates with parents
• Identify the purpose/ reason for communicating with parents
• Identify the support that the DH can get from the departmental officials
• Identify the reason to maintain a good relationship with departmental officials
