This workshop will enable you to:

- Recognise the process skills required in natural sciences
- Acknowledge the language skills required in natural sciences
- Apply the different methodologies used to teach natural sciences
- Successfully conduct a scientific investigation
- Use found resources/shoestring methods to substitute for missing resources
- Explain what TPACK is
- Choose the correct technology that is appropriate for specific scientific content
- Explain how learners can be engaged in each methodology
- Describe the role of an educator in the teaching of natural sciences
- Understand the cognitive demands of assessment
- Apply good questioning techniques to adhere to cognitive demand
